(More customer reviews)First off, this is a "security cabinet" and not a safe. This means it is, basically, a locker. That is fine - I bought this to meet the state requirements for secured guns - not as a safe to deter burglers.
What disappointed me was that there were no instructions for what I was supposed to do with the 14+ plastic pieces that came along with it. I did figure it out, but instructions would have been helpful.
The rack used to hold the rifles is a long, thin piece of plastic with a peel-off sticky backing that acts as a rail onto which you place the plastic holders that you lean the barrels of the rifles into to keep them from sliding around. One of my sticky-backed rails has already come loose.
The two little storage bins you see on the door of the locker are small plastic cups with a lip about 1/4" wide that just hang on the doors assisted by gravity. If you shut the door with any force at all, they will come loose. Also, those bins are almost open at the front so they don't hold things in very well - stuff spills out if you put even a few things into them.
Also, that "shelf" you see at the top of the photo just bursting with ammunition? That shelf is only about 4 inches deep.
My final word of warning is that this will only hold 6 rifles if they are all extremely narrow rifles - both in width and height. If your rifles are configured like AR-15s that have pistol grips and carrying handles, you cant place them into the rack the normal way, you have to put them in sideways and this locker will only hold 2 of them.
So why 3 stars? It is a very sturdy cabinet with double locks.
